Northshore Wilderness Adventure
The coolest camp (in my opinion) that Camp Bighorn offers in the summer is the Wilderness Adventure. It consists of 4-5 days of backpacking along the Stateline trail (border of Montana and Idahoe) and a day of mountain biking and then ending with a day of rafting down the Albertine Gorge. Lindsay Robinson, the senior intern that I am working with this year (leading the Blue Team) and I went with a group of high-schoolers and 3 leaders from Northshore (Washington) on a Wilderness Adventure. We did an extra day of backpacking instead of mountain biking, but still ended with rafting the Gorge. The leaders from Northshore were: Chris, Jeremy, and Scott. There was also a teacher named Ann, and the high-schoolers were Richie, another Scott, Andrew, John, yet another Scott, Ally, and Julia.
